In order to advance sustainable efforts efficiently, not only have we obtained ISO14001, we are actively implementing environmental accounting standards and green procurement.

To minimize impact on the environment, Konica Minolta is encouraging various efforts such as the development of "zero-waste" factories, control & reduction of potentially hazardous chemicals, and reduction of CO2 emission.

Recycling of materials, reduction and/or disuse of potentially harmful chemicals in our products, and energy conservation are all being positively executed at each stage of the product lifecycle to preserve the environment.

Technology advancement and product assessment are being conducted to reduce harm to the environment at all stages of the product life cycle.

Our three main approaches in order to save the environment in production are conserving energy, cutting the use of potentially hazardous substances, and reducing waste.

In order to lessen the amount of energy necessary to distribute our products, we carry out reviews and make improvements to our distribution system. Light packaging is also a part of our efforts for environmental conservation.

Not only are we supplying the market with energy efficient and resource saving products, we also disclose information regarding products and environmental impact.

We have already built a system of collecting used products for recycling.
